Eyebrows is very important component of facial aesthetic beauty. Some patients have sparse eyebrows due to skin diseases like atopy, frontal fibrosing alopecia, patient with thyroid disorders, scars etc. Eyebrow transplantation is a technique developed for such patients.
Procedure
The procedure involves taking the hair from the scalp, or body hairs in some cases and then transplanting these hairs to the required areas in the eyebrow region. These hairs then continue to grow for a lifetime, and need to be trimmed periodically once in a month as they grow like scalp hairs.
